MOO Bangkok, a brand of men’s clothing and lifestyle led by Moo-Polpat Asavaprapha, designer and founder of Asava Group. Launches the good goods collaborated with MOO Bangkok by Polpat (Moo) Asavaprapha to design a special collection inspired by local wisdom from Sakon Nakhon, Thailand. The collection is created in collaboration with 3 communities: Ban Kut Chik Indigo-dyed fabric Community, Khlong Withi Community Enterprise, and BAN-NA-NGAM Weaving Group. Their craftsmanship is reinterpreted through the urban style ready-to-wear of MOO Bangkok under the concept “Eternal Sunshine” which reflects brightness, smiles, and positive energy found in the simple joys of everyday life. The collection conveys the essence of Thai identity through clothing, creating a warm and heartfelt atmosphere.
This special collection proudly supports Thai craftsmanship rooted in environmentally friendly practices. All techniques are derived from natural processes, such as Hand-spun Cotton and natural tie-dyeing and the use of zero-waste fabrics. Leftover woven fabrics are repurposed into detailed accents seen throughout the collection, which features easy-to-wear items like Hawaiian shirts, shorts, and jackets. The collection also blends Thai identity with the aesthetics of both good goods and MOO Bangkok through a signature paisley elephant print, which is the highlight item of this collection. Along with tie-dye T-shirts with playful color drops, capturing the vibrant spirit of Thailand.
With a goal to elevate Thai design into a modern contemporary style, the collection is intentionally unisex and inclusive, suitable for all genders and ages. It is driven by a commitment to preserve Thai local wisdom while creating sustainable income for the communities involved, ultimately aiming to enhance product quality to an international standard. All proceeds from the collection will go back to supporting the communities through Central Tham, a social enterprise initiative.
